One of the old wooden lifeguard towers at Sunset beach on Oahu. This one has since been replaced by a larger more comfortable modern white tower. The old ones are just a little more enjoyable to photograph.




I spend quite a bit of time at Waimea bay. Here's the moon rising under some palm trees.




This is a favorite of a set of three falls not too far from Honolulu. I try to visit all the waterfalls I can find on Oahu.




This is a cloud formed when lava hits the ocean. This flow was in Kalapana (near Hilo on the Big Island.)




Water drops on a Lotus at Waimea Falls Park. There are so many great flowers in the botanical gardens at Waimea Falls.




Near the summit of the Koolau mountains. It's a grueling all day hike but the view from the top is great.




Occasionally I do leave Hawaii for a vacation. This waterfall is naturally heated. It's part of many hot water creeks that run into the Colorado river in the Black Canyon.

I drive by these three palm trees every day. One night when the moon was full i decided to pull over and take a picture.
